Background |
|
SSI (Surface Systems & Instruments, Inc.) is a
U.S. Corporation that manufactures devices that
measure various qualities of surfaces. SSI was
founded in 1995 and is privately held.
•SSI’s core products
test the ride quality (smoothness) of roads, bridges
and airfield pavements. We also measure the
quality of concrete slabs and floors (outputting
FF/FL and more).
•SSI’s emerging
technologies feature sophisticated devices that
generate 3-D surface topographies by integrating
conventional survey equipment with SSI’s inertial
profiling systems.
•SSI products are used
worldwide. The CS8500 profilograph, the
CS9X00/CS8700 series of laser profiling systems, and
the CS8800 walking profiler are shipped and
supported anywhere.

Asphalt and Concrete Tools
•A complete line of concrete and asphalt tools
used for the detail work on construction jobs.
The tools include aluminum straightedges, highway
checking tools, lutes and depth gauges.

specifications. Kneading compactors, standard
