Overview
SSI has successfully delivered another CS7800 Onpaver profiler to a Southern California contractor. This unit serves as a quality control device for multiple paver vehicles within the contractor’s fleet. The CS7800 design allows for quick removal and transfer to other paver devices; requiring only a 12 or 24 VDC power supply and a dovetail mount that SSI can supply. The daily procedure to begin collecting, reviewing, and saving data is second nature to anyone familiar with windows software programs.

SSI has also reduced the system calibration and initial setup time so new operators can be trained in minutes. Revised hardware allows for accurate smoothness measurements without the recalibrating or verifying the setup each day.
Much of the equipment on the CS7800 can be transferred to other SSI equipment, maintaining SSI’s modular design goal. The Contractor has mounted their CS7800 on a Gomaco Commander III and a Wirtgen SP94i.
