CS8700 Lightweight Profiler

The lightweight inertial profiler collects data with the same computer, software, electronics, and sensors as the CS9100/CS9300 vehicle mounted systems. These components can actually be shared between a lightweight and a high-speed vehicle.

Typically lightweight profilers are used to test concrete pavement soon after paving – before a truck can get access. More often lightweight profilers are used on closed lanes or airfields.

SSI’s exclusive new technology simplifies urban collections and projects with constraints. Collect at any speed (0-100 mph) with a Zero-Speed upgrade.

The major components are removable for use on another truck as a mid-vehicle or front mount system. The electronics can also be transferred for collections with the CS9100/CS9300. In the event of an emergency or routine support case, all modular parts are kept in stock at our facilities around the United States for easy domestic or worldwide shipment.
