Collect grades and cross-slopes with a sonic or laser sensors. The highly portable CS9470 incorporates a military grade INS system with optional PPK corrections. The PPK corrections allow for more accuracy over longer elevations by counteracting the drift of the INS sensors and accelerometer.
The collection speed is 5-74 mph, but typically the data is collected on gravel roads and the speeds are near 30 mph. Mounting hardware options include tow hook clamps or a 2″ hitch receiver coupler.
The CS9470 can export the path data to CSV or to a kvalue report with the settings for vertical curves within SSI Profiler.
