Commercial Slabs & Floors

Overview

SSI’s CS8850 SurfacePro captures highly detailed surface measurements, from which FF/FL values are generated for commercial floors and slabs. Extending technology from SSI’s proven walking profiler for roads, plus its Windows software result in the CS8850 delivering capabilities far beyond competing devices.

Much More than FF/FL Numbers

In addition to ASTM E1155 compliant FF/FL numbers, the CS8850 SurfacePro collects continuous profile data at a configurable interval that defaults to 1 inch (25.4 mm). The industry’s first device with a full Windows operating system, the CS8850 has feature rich software to plan, collect and report floor data.

Options for 3D Survey and Cross-Slope

The CS8850 can pair with total stations for spot on survey elevations producing data outputs compatible with CAD software. Cross-slope reporting is also an option.

Specifications

  • ASTM E1155 (Standard Test Method for Determining FF Floor Flatness and FL Floor Levelness Numbers)
  • ASTM E1486 (Standard Test Method for Determining Floor Tolerances Using Waviness, Wheel Path and Levelness Criteria (Metric)(under development)
