The core hardware mount provides a customizable foundation for scalable surface measurement instrumentation. It starts as an inertial profiler and can be uplifted to add measurements including rut depth, texture, geometry and more. The hardware can be attached to the front (recommended) or rear of many different host vehicles. The core modules can be removed for safekeeping when the system is not in use.

Flexible & Upgradable Platform

With its unique design, the collection modules on the CS9300 can be repositioned vertically or transversely as needed to meet specifications and to adapt the hardware onto different host vehicles. The extension arms of the CS9300 can hold two to five lasers for wheel path only profiling and/or five point rutting. The changes to the system can be made at any time with bolt-on hardware. 

 

Shipment & Installation

The CS9300 fits into a form fitted shipment container that holds all of the components. The front mounting kit for the system replaces the vehicles tow hooks and creates a secure beam that moves with the vehicle. Rear mounted, the CS9300 attaches to a standard Class III (2” square) towing receiver assembly.

  • ±5g rated Accelerometers with 0.0001g accuracy
  • Proven ability to replicate wavelengths of ~0.25 feet (7.62mm) in excess of 760 feet (231.6 meters)
  • Core sensors and electronics removable for reuse on an SSI CS8700 lightweight profiling system
